 Kare OnLive Cake

A couple of days ago, I participated in the Kare 11 OnLive Potluck.  Crazy amounts of fun!

Surprise Party!

These are the lucky people who were present for the birth of the Bananas Foster cake a month ago. (more…)

I’m waiting on a photo of a slice of the cake, but the finished cake can be seen in my “less traditional” gallery as “Funky Birthday”. Why I forgot to take a photo of the slice is beyond me, especially given the amount of emails my Bananas Foster photo and description generated!

This cake started with my delicious Amaretto white cake as the base. I made a syrup out of peach syrup and Southern Comfort, and brushed that onto the leveled slices of the cake
