Going Bananas!

Catching up on some blogging today.. and I’m pleased to announce some new yummies on our lineup!

First of all, I combined two New Orleans favorites and came up with Bananas Foster pralines. These creamy confections are loaded with pecans and bananas chips, and feature the delicious combo of banana, cinnamon, and rum flavors! YUM!

Secondly - we’re on a bit of a banana kick here! - we have a banana nut brittle. Of course, we already offer a few amazing brittles - peanut, sunflower, cashew, and pistachio to start - but this is truly a unique item! We start with our delicious base brittle recipe, and load it full of banana chips and walnuts.

I gave a sample of each to one of my fellow pro pastry chef buddies at an industry event the other day, and her reaction sums it up nicely!

Left on my voicemail: “Hi… I’m just trying your candies.. they are SO good.. it’s WRONG!!! Sooooooo good!!!”

LOL.

Hubby had a similar reaction, so we’re looking forward to featuring these new items at our 2008 Maple Grove Farmer’s Market booth, which opens in just 3 weeks! Also available will be various other candies, our unique candied apples, and of course - various cookies and cupcakes!
